Your exponential growth starts by working less

Today I’d like to invite you to shift (or ‘Leverage’) your business model, or how you deliver your work to your clients and customers. The goal is to so that you are no longer working hours for dollars, then work with 2x, 5x, even 10x (or more!) your current number of clients…while working fewer hours. 

Does that sound impossible? I assure you, it is absolutely possible, and we have helped thousands of business owners just like you learn how to scale like this in our Leverage Program.

However…at this point in your business, it is probably impossible for you to scale exponentially, as I described above.

Your current business model is likely getting in the way of you scaling in a way that will give you your life back while you make 2x, 5x, or 10x the income you are now. 

Leveraging how you deliver your work (making changes to your business model) will make it possible for you to GROW in a number of ways:

  • Grow your business
  • Grow the number of clients and customers you work with,
  • Grow your revenues exponentially.

This is about shifting your offerings so that you can work with many more people, without it all depending on you. 

I want to share something that happened when I was at six figures and overwhelmed (many years ago) and my husband, Derek, who had always been supportive of me…changed his tune, if you will. One day when I called him and said, “Honey, I got a new client!”, instead of the celebrations that I was used to, there was silence on the line.

He said, “Congratulations…but honey, are you sure that you need more clients? We never see you. Please…no more clients.”

It was definitely not what I was expecting, but it made me step back and reconsider everything about my business. I knew that I wanted to grow my impact and my reach; I wanted to grow the number of lives I was changing. I also wanted to grow my revenues.

I said to myself, “There must be a better way.” 

And what I realized is, to grow my business without sacrificing my life, I had to somehow shift how I delivered my work to clients. I didn’t know how I was going to do that. I asked myself:

=> Was it possible for my clients to get the same results (or even better results) without working so closely with me?
=> Could I work with many more people without sacrificing the great work we were doing? 

I happily discovered that there are actually many, many ways to do so very successfully.

Here’s what I want you to know: changing my business model changed my life completely – radically – and it will change yours too.


  1. Changing your business model gives you the potential for helping many more people.
  2. Working with 10 times the customers means you can make a lot more money.
  3. Working fewer hours for dollars gives you your evenings and weekends back, allowing you to spend time with the people you love most.

Of course, this kind of change will take some time to put into place, but the long term goal is that you continually increase your impact while increasing your freedom.

Let’s take a look at how you can scale your business model. 

Start by questioning your existing delivery process:

=> How do I get my work to my clients?
=> How many people can I serve right now each month (or each year), with my existing business model? 

Next, ask yourself if you could handle the kind of growth we’re discussing:

=> If I was featured on Oprah tomorrow and got a big influx of interest from massive exposure, could I handle 10x the number of clients or customers with my current format?
=> Why or Why not?

Remember, be honest with yourself here about where you are with your business model and how it feels to consider this kind of exponential growth.
