Today I’m dropping in with some inspiration around permission.
In my travels over the years, working with tens of thousands of women, I have heard them say to me:
“You gave me permission to go for it.”
“You gave me permission to succeed.”
“You gave me permission to charge more.”
“You gave me permission to stop doing that thing I don’t feel fulfilled by and instead, do what I love.”
I’ve seen this happen time and time again.
And I always say, “You know, you don’t need my permission. You just need to give yourself permission.”
And for some reason, it’s like I have a magic wand. :)
Maybe you need the same “permission”? So here I am today, giving you permission…to give yourself permission! Watch this, sweet friend:
Here’s what I want you to know.
There are countless people out there who are less talented than you, who have less experience than you, who are doing the thing that you want to do (even though you’re more equipped).
And what I want you to get is that the only advantage these people have in succeeding at the thing you want to do is this…
They gave themselves permission.
Permission to go for it, to take risks, to do what they haven’t done before, to invest significantly in themselves, to charge more…you name it.
And while I’d love to stand here and pat you on the forehead with my magic wand (the way I have with thousands of others) perhaps it’s time for you to give yourself permission, and start doing the thing you want to do.
If you want to get help in your business, give yourself permission to afford it.
If you want to charge more, give yourself permission to charge more.
If you want to get out of doing something or working for somebody else, give yourself permission to do so.
It’s about courage.
It’s about being brave enough to just rip off the band-aid and do it.
It’s about acknowledging your Bold Heart.
Go for it! xo
