Do you ever feel like you have to justify what you charge to potential clients, and sometimes, wonder if you need to reduce your prices, just to get more clients?
If your business is simply transactional, meaning, you’re exchanging money for standard goods or services, you’re opening yourself up to comparison to all of the other people in your industry (or even outside of it) who do what you do.
Sadly, this makes you a dreaded commodity, in that the only thing that differentiates you is price.
(Ugh, I even dislike the sound of that! You’re worth so much more than that.)
When you’re a commodity, your potential clients feel they can easily compare you to others who do what you do, and you may even find yourself thinking that the best thing to do is to lower your prices so that you can be more competitive.
Hear me: lowering your prices is not the best thing to do!
Instead, I’d like to inspire you to think about what you offer in a completely different way.

So you may be asking yourself:
“Well, that sounds good for you, Fabienne…but I’m a (insert professional service provider here). How could I possibly do this in my business?”
I want you to examine how you do what you do and the services you offer and think about how you can create an experience around it, beyond the simple transaction.
How can you delight the people you serve?
How can you allow them to feel more significant, more “heard,” more loved, like they belong to something?
Here’s the Maya Angelou quote I mentioned in the video:
“I’ve learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.”
Leave your clients feeling extra-loved, extra-seen, extra-heard and extra-significant.
Do this (and by the way, it feels so good) and you and your business will slowly become untouchable. Getting new clients will become easy, and referrals will come faster than ever before.
