If you feel like it’s not growing the way you’d hoped, there’s a possibility that you’ve been giving away your power. And I see this happen all the time. I meet countless women who, without realizing it, hand over their decision-making power to their business partners, their spouse, their marketing team, their assistant, or whoever happens to have the loudest opinion in the room – even though it’s their business!
This isn’t uncommon. But when we do this, we ignore our intuition. We stay quiet when we do know the right answer, but we assume that someone else must know better, so we let them decide for us.

Where Are You Giving Away Your Power in Your Business?
Maybe this resonates with you.
Perhaps you’re thinking about writing a book, but someone in your life is telling you it’s the wrong book to write. Or that it’s not the right time.
Or that you don’t have the money to invest in yourself. And instead of trusting yourself, you let someone else make the decision for you.
Maybe your accountant tells you, “That’s crazy. You can’t do that thing you want to do,” even though your intuition is screaming that this is the right move.
And so you second-guess. You hesitate. And the thing you truly want – the thing that could change everything – gets pushed aside. And yet, your intuition is screaming inside that you know that this is the right thing to do.
I want to invite you to sit with this for a moment. Ask yourself:
- Where am I giving up my power?
- What would happen if I reclaimed it?
- What if I started making my own decisions about my business, my investments, my time, my resources?
And just looking at this list, ask yourself, can you be courageous enough to do this for yourself, for your business, for all the legions of people that are supposed to work with you, but right now, you’re giving away your power.
Because here’s what I know: the minute you reclaim your power, everything changes.
Your Intuition As a Business Strategy
When you take back control of your decisions, you begin to focus on the things that actually matter. You stop chasing shiny objects. You stop wasting time on strategies that don’t feel aligned.
Instead, you lean into what you know is right, and you execute with confidence. That’s leverage. That’s how you create exponential growth without working yourself into the ground.
I say this with love because I’ve seen it happen over and over again. Women in my programs come to me feeling stuck, hesitant, unsure.
They’ve spent years, sometimes decades, putting other people’s opinions above their own. But the moment they take back their voice – their decision-making power, their earning potential – everything shifts. Their confidence grows. Their business takes off. Their income skyrockets.
And it’s not because they started working harder. It’s because they stopped waiting for permission and started trusting themselves.
ou already know what needs to happen. You already know the right next step. The only question is – will you trust yourself enough to take it?
