I wanted to take a moment to reach out and remind you of the incredible strength and courage you have.
As a woman entrepreneur, a dreamer, and a doer, you are extraordinary. It is astounding what you’ve been able to accomplish with your perseverance. I see you.
Growing and then scaling a business is not for the faint of heart. Others in your life wouldn’t be able to stick with it the way you have, especially on days when it feels like the walls are impenetrable and the horizon seems too far away.
But I want you to remember, on those challenging days, that true success is not about the absence of struggles; it’s about how we respond to them.
Some days can be tough, particularly for us women as there are many other obligations in our lives, not just our business.
Yet, it is precisely why I’m dropping in today to remind you to believe in yourself and keep your eye on the vision you set out for yourself when you started your own business.
Because, it’s not really about just making money for us, it’s not just about building a business; it’s about self-discovery, resilience, and empowerment…seeing what we’re made of.
The freedom that comes with running your own business comes with challenges. Not every day will end in victory, but sometimes the biggest win in a tough week lies in holding onto your faith and not losing sight of your vision.
On days when you feel frustrated, it may seem easier to let someone else take the reins and dictate your work, your life, your everything, but that’s not who you are.
You and I are unemployable. We can’t work for someone else ever again, so we have no choice but to make this “thing” work.
You are already a woman of ambition, tenacity, and strength, you already have the basic ingredients. What you may not have yet is the master recipe, and the support to make it happen quickly.
What I’m saying is this:
Yes, you are a force to be reckoned with, but even the strongest need support.
Sometimes, the quickest path to fulfilling our dreams is when we allow someone we trust to get us there more easily; someone who’s been there, who has a heart of generosity and who can help us move faster and more confidently in the direction of our dreams.
For one, I’ve never been ‘too cool for school’. I know what I know, I know that there are things I don’t know, and then there are ALL the things I don’t know that I don’t know. Those are the things I want to learn from others.
And that’s when I seek out the help I need, knowing it’s actually the smartest way to do things.
Today, I’m inviting you to open up to the idea that what got you here won’t get you there.
