I get scared too

The majority of people will back away from things they fear, like that thing right outside of their comfort zone.

And that’s why they’re not where they want to be in their business.

Thing is, we also know that everything you seek lies on the other side of the things you fear most.

Whether it’s public speaking, recording videos, asking for the sale, writing marketing copy…we’ve simply got to do some things that are outside of our comfort zone to have the results that we want. In life and in business.

So today I’ve got a video to share with you that I made a few weeks ago after I did something that I was scared to do. I hope it’s exactly what you need to hear to be inspired today. Watch it now:

I have to tell you, I was exhilarated and over-the-moon excited after I spoke on that stage. As I shared in the video (and with tears in my eyes), I wasn’t even close to perfect, but I was honest and real. This earned me a bit of respect from that audience of professional French speakers. They gave me a standing ovation.

This is what happens when you do things that feel completely outside of your comfort zone, when you prefer to run in the other direction.

This is what happens when you dive right into the deep end of the pool when you’re not exactly sure you even know how to swim.

You actually inspire yourself. To grow, learn, improve and prevail.

So, if there’s an opportunity available to you in your business, right now, that you haven’t taken because it feels scary to you, I hope that this message is exactly what you need to hear today to go for it.

I promise… Everything you want lies on the other side of your fear. And once you’ve done it, whatever it is, you’re going to realize that it…wasn’t really so scary after all.
