Today, we’re diving into how to use the Law of Circulation to get clients (yes, even now).
In these interesting times, some people are not attracting the number of clients that they used to attract. And that’s 100% normal.
But that doesn’t mean you should stop marketing. No, quite the opposite.
Here’s my advice:
The way I see it is that marketing in these times is all about being of service and giving as much value as you can.
This is what I’ve been teaching our members of the Boldheart Business program, and it’s working. They’re gaining followers, gaining credibility, and even attracting new paying clients and corporate assignments, even from home.
But there are some people who have come to me and said:
“Fabienne, I’m giving, I’m giving, I’m giving, and the clients…they aren’t coming. I don’t know what to do. Should I stop giving?”
I answered their question with a question, and I said, “Are you giving with the express intention to get something in the moment?”
Look, I get it. It can be frustrating when the “receiving” isn’t happening fast enough. Especially when you could use some cash.
Here’s what you should know:
People can actually sense (energetically) when you need them more than they need you. And this is usually a really big turn-off for prospects.
And that’s when it’s important to take into account the Universal Law of Circulation.
The Law of Circulation states that, “To whom you give is not necessarily from whom you receive.”
I hope you write that down.
The person that you give to, energetically speaking, is not necessarily the person you will receive from.
This is also connected to the Law of Cause and Effect, another universal law. In this case, the Cause is your giving (the value you’re offering to your people) and the Effect is all of the clients and opportunities that will show up down the road as a result of your giving now.
I’ve personally been out there giving and giving and serving and doing extra Facebook Lives and extra calls with our clients (without charging more, of course). I’m happily creating new content to be of service to the people who need it.
It’s just about putting the energy out there.
It’s a brave new world for marketing in these interesting times. And it’s important to remember that marketing, sales and business is so much about energy…that it’s not about what you do, but how you do it.
So please keep in mind the Law of Circulation.
When you give a little, you get back a lot.
