The answer to how you should spend your time in your business will depend on what stage of growth you are in your business. At different stages of our entrepreneurial journey, it’s essential to prioritize our time and efforts wisely to experience exponential growth and lasting success.

Here’s what I suggest:

The Growth Phase: Just Below Six Figures

At this stage, your focus should be on, what we call at Boldheart, Money Generating Activities or MGAs, the tasks that will bring in the clients with the least effort and the quickest results. Concentrate on what will bring you the most revenue in the least amount of time, with the least effort, and the greatest long-term impact. Your key activities are:

  • Fine-tuning your sales and marketing strategies
  • Identifying and nurturing profitable opportunities
  • Creating irresistible offers that appeal to your target audience
  • Becoming a master of “the soft close” to get more clients

The Leverage Phase: Multiple Six Figures

As you scale, it’s no longer solely about sales and marketing, at least, not as your only focus. Instead, the spotlight turns to Exponential Growth Activities (EGAs). These activities are not about immediate income, but rather about setting the stage for massive long-term impact and growth. Focus on long-term impact, scalability, and freedom. Prioritize these activities:

  • Building a strong team so you can get out of the day to day
  • Optimizing your systems for efficiency, so things don’t depend on you as much
  • Shifting your business model, so you have room for many more clients, without you having to do the heavy lifting
  • Developing marketing assets to establish your authority, the content of which can be leveraged for years to come
  • Shifting your role in the business from the day-to-day to strategic leadership

This is what gets you on the path of exponential growth that also provides you with the freedom you crave while making a real impact in your market.
