When your business is at the place where you need leverage – it’s very exciting. You have plenty of clients and the money is coming in. But now you need more time. How can you get more time when there are only 24 hours in a day?
One way is to make it super easy for prospects to become clients by self-selecting the right package. At this stage, you are probably spending too much time with tire kickers. That wastes your precious time and drains your energy.
Here’s a way to help prospects pre-qualify themselves for your programs which makes your job so much simpler and less time consuming. I recommend creating three different business profiles. For example, three levels that I offer are:
1. Ramp Up Rachel/Rob
For the Ramp Up level, people have only been in business for a couple of years and bring in less than $50,000 per year. For these clients, the main focus is on making more money, getting more clients and being in a really big building stage.
2. Leverage Lucy/Larry
The second level is for established business owners who have clients and make good money earning between $50,000 and $150,000. But they feel overwhelmed and don’t have enough time. These owners have created a “job” for themselves, but now they want more freedom, so they need some serious leverage.
3. Visionary Vicky/Vince
The top level is for business owners who have a great business, make great money and are wondering what is next. These entrepreneurs make upwards of $150-$250K+ and want to play a MUCH bigger game (while striving for seven figures and beyond.
I share this as a template for your business. By spelling out exactly where your prospects are at this point, what their problems and issues tend to be and what they need right now to move forward, you make it easy for them to pre-qualify themselves. There is less of this hemming and hawing with clients wondering, “Should I work with you?” People will know exactly which program is right for them. And this in turn, helps the tire-kickers to opt out or choose a program. That leaves you with more clients, less tire kickers and more time! Woohoo!
Once you get this type of clarity into your programs and marketing materials, things will get easier and it will give you a lot more leverage so you’re not running around like crazy all over the place.
Your Client Attraction Assignment
Using this idea as a template or jumping off point, how you can implement a system with levels that helps your prospects choose the best way to work with you? Think about their issues and what will help them most in their current situations. Then, put that into your marketing materials so you can gain some of that freedom you crave.
