Today, I’m reaching out to the very strong women with a video that may literally change everything for you.
I’m speaking to you if you are someone who thinks she can do it all on her own and feels that “asking for help” shows weakness. ;)
This is a systemic issue standing in the way for many, many business owners, especially women. And maybe it’s standing in your way too?
It’s the idea that you should be able to figure it out on your own.
My sweet friend, I get it. I’ve been there too.
You and I have been so conditioned to believe that asking for help somehow diminishes us or makes us “less than.”
In a masculine world of all-things-bravado, it can seem “weak” to admit we need some help getting something done or to rely on someone else for something we should (theoretically) be able to do or figure out on our own.
But here’s what I know now, from the vantage point of where I am standing today and what I’ve been able to accomplish…
…none of us can do it alone.
In this week’s video, I want to share with you how I reconciled this within myself so that (hopefully) you can too. This is an opportunity to get very honest, ok? So be compassionate and kind to yourself, and be willing to look at the truth of how these beliefs aren’t serving you. Watch now:
Asking for help is brave, yes.
Better yet, it is actually a testament to how WORTHY you feel to be supported in the highest way possible.
You aren’t meant to be good at everything.
You were born with divine gifts and talents, and quite frankly, you will thrive when you focus on doing what you already do, well, better.
I don’t know where the idea came from that we “should” be able to figure things out for ourselves, to magically “know what we don’t know,” but I wish I could eradicate it from the planet.
Especially for women.
This belief is insidious.
It’s why you tend to often be exhausted. It’s why you are chronically overwhelmed. It’s why you often feel so stressed out.
And, sadly, it’s holding you back in your business.
Learning to delegate the aspects of your business that you aren’t great at and don’t love doing allows you to expand and grow.
Getting help with things you don’t know how to do actually demonstrates how smart you are.
Hiring a mentor who can show you exactly what to do and how to do it is the fast track to your success and it does not diminish your success in any way.
You don’t need to reinvent the wheel. Instead, leverage what someone else has already figured out, and give it your own unique flavor.
Listen closely to this week’s message and be willing to ask yourself why going it alone hasn’t worked.
You’re smart. If you could have figured “it” (whatever your challenge may happen to be in this moment) out by now…frankly, you would have.
So whether it’s time to hire more admin support so you’re not spending hours a week fussing with technology when you could be talking to potential clients, or working with a successful mentor you resonate with who has achieved the results you want to achieve, I give you permission to get the help you need.
Giving yourself this permission is an act of self-love.
I believe in you,
Fabienne
P.S. Asking for help in your business is vital to your growth. It frees up your time and gives you space to create. And because of this, it always pays for itself, in spades. That’s what happened to me.
The money always comes back when you are committed to leveraging the time, expertise or knowledge that you’ve acquired. Always.
If you have been wanting to grow your business and revenues, but you’re not sure how to get out of the overwhelm you’re in now, we can likely help. We have the recipe that works, the structure you need and the accountability you crave. (And the love and encouragement too.)
Let’s chat. We’d love to hear what your situation is like now, what’s not working, what you ideally want to see for your business in 12-24 months, and we’ll map out a plan for you to get to where you want to be.
And then, on this exploratory call, we can also look at what it would be like to work together.
I lovingly encourage you to reach out here for a complimentary strategy call with one of our amazing Boldheart coaches.
