About that Imposter Syndrome you feel

I know you want to grow your business, get more well-known and increase your reach… BUT…

…for that, you would need to be more omnipresent in your marketing – well, at least seemingly omnipresent. And I get that it sounds scary (at first).

Here’s what you don’t necessarily know about marketing that gets you to 7 figures, without sacrificing your life:

It’s about “leverage” and perception, rather than actually BEING everywhere, in real time.

The idea of being a person who is omnipresent in your marketing can trigger a feeling of being ‘too visible’, or it being ‘too difficult’, so that you don’t want to do it.

Why? “Oops, I might be found out. They might realize I don’t know enough, or have it all together.”

imposter syndrome

The way to bridge the gap between where you are now (wanting to get “bigger” in your reach, but afraid of being more visible) and where you want to be (reaching more people so you can change more lives) is to understand WHO you have to be to make that happen.

Why? Because Identity Drives Behavior.

So, ask yourself: Who do I have to be in the world in order to successfully seem to be everywhere in my marketing?

For many, the simple answer is congruence, meaning that everything you are is equal to your marketing message.

Yes, being an omnipresent marketer means being congruent with your message, so that your life is actually a reflection of your work.

It isn’t always easy when you first hear about this and start asking yourself if you’re really “walking your talk.” In fact, I have worked with thousands of women in business to help them achieve marketing omnipresence, and this is the thing that is often the sticking point.

Incongruence in your life is very often the cause of a Fraud Factor, or Imposter Syndrome: the fear of being “found out” or exposed as soon as you decide to ramp up your visibility.

When people start putting themselves out there in a big way in their marketing, there’s a little bit of fear that happens, an inner voice that says, “Oh no, they’ll find out that I’m not actually who I say I am or that I don’t have my ‘stuff’ together.”

Incongruence simply means that what you’re putting out there doesn’t feel a hundred percent what you’re living. And I’ve often said, “Live your message, fully, and client attraction will be big time easy.”

Are you experiencing a Fraud Factor or Imposter Syndrome?

Take some time to examine where you might have some incongruence in your life, as it relates to marketing your business exponentially:

  • Where in your life are you being incongruent with your business message?
  • How is it affecting your willingness to be more omnipresent in your marketing?
As soon as you reconcile any incongruence between the way you are showing up in your life and your marketing message, you will be much more willing to be prolific and visible. This will put you in front of your ideal clients authentically, which cannot fail to attract them to you.

I get that this isn’t easy to do on your own, and yet, if you want to be at 6 figures, multiple 6 figures or even a million a year in your business, your feelings about becoming an omnipresent marketer must be resolved. No way around it.

If you know you need help with this, but you’re not sure how to do this or what to do differently, we are here for you.
