I know you have big dreams and goals. And if you’re anything like me at times, I also know you have…
…a bunch of fears and obstacles that creep up when you start thinking big.
These can have you believe that you’re not cut out for some of your goals, or that you may not have what it takes.
You probably experience lots of thoughts about all of the things that stand between you and your dreams.
Well…this week, I want to tell you a story about my 3 children to illustrate an entirely different approach to handling obstacles in your business. Watch it now:
You see, our mind is very good at focusing on the negative. On all the things that we don’t have. On why we can’t have what we want. Basically, we see the obstacles, we tell ourselves it can’t be done and we voluntarily run away from the thing we say we want.
Most people try to ignore the obstacles and rely on willpower to push themselves to their goals. But this doesn’t work. A mindset shift I’d like for you to have as a result of watching this week’s video is:
The obstacles you are experiencing now are actually opportunities for your success!
When you see them in this light, and embrace them, you realize that they are the raw material to help you get what you want. The video will explain it in detail.
That, my friend, is how your big goals become the reality of your life: by embracing all the reasons why something “won’t work” or “can’t be done” and taking action on turning those around so you practically guarantee it will work.
Has this ever happened to you? Post your thoughts about this in the comments here, OK?
P.S. Hey, not sure if you saw my note yesterday around not settling (ever). Just a heads up that next week, I’ll be opening registration for a free live class I’m teaching about becoming much more confident in every area of your day-to-day interactions so you can create the life you dream of. The class itself is happening in a couple of weeks and I’ll email you about it next week so you can sign up and tell any friends who could use more confidence. It’s about being bold enough to create your Boldheart Life. Keep your eyes open for your free invite, ok? (Love you.)
